Dr Tony Robinson is an advisor to tech startups, specialising in those involving speech, machine learning and artificial intelligence. He has founded/co-founded ten companies in this area and been instrumental to the technical strategy for many more. He is best known for Speechmatics which was built on decades of experience going back to the first large scale use of recurrent neural networks in speech recognition at Cambridge University's Machine Intelligence Laboratory. He particularly enjoys early stage startups and dislikes talking about himself in the third person.
