A smallish house that can be heated easily - cosy not vast, 2 or 3 bedroom. Bath and shower room, needs to expand to camping guests.
Install solar array for most power. Wood stove with back burner to heat a large hot water tank and radiators. Electric to get water to bath/tap temperature, for lights, cooking, GPUs, etc. Decent internet needed.
Extra accomodation for summer, could be a barn, camping, a static caravan, something like that.
Very preferably own water supply to keep all plants happy.
Polytunnel and large 'allotment' area close to house, needs to be good growing soil. Tomatoes, squash, potatoes, herbs.
Vineyard and orchard.
Also close to house and water supply. Needs a shade tunnel.
Many of every tree I can find, all labelled. Perhaps 1/3 of total land area. Cambridge Botanic Gardens is 16 hectares/40 acres.
A large area, preferably with great views, rocks, a fresh water supply and wild camp areas. Native trees, whatever grows.
Mountains for exploring and keeping fit are a must, beaches are a plus. Not within a national park or other restricted area for Forestry EIA reasons.
Probably mid wales, north wales, or pennines. Cornwall has beaches but no mountains, Scotland gets too dark in winter. Lakes is all national park.
Private, no neighbours visible, probably at the end of a track, preferably with views of mountains or out to sea.
It's important that both the house and location are a good holiday home. Target is immediate family (Turner Clan) with their friends. The general rule is that you pay for yourself and leave things better than you found it. For example, if you break anything you fix it, you do some painting, tidying up, fixing, plan something or maintain the plants. That is, do a little bit extra that makes it your space and you can come back to and think yes I did.
Two sets of linen, one clean and one dirty. You put the clean one on, wash, dry and put away the dirty one.
Other possibilities for visitors are charities such as https://somethingtolookforwardto.org.uk/ but this needs a little bit of extra and care because for breakages and linen.
Needs to be set up to be continuing so that inheritance tax doesn't kill the idea - it can't be the case that it's got to be sold just to pay inheritance tax. So this is a Trust, a not for profit company or a charity.
Rights to access should be all direct descendants - they will all have to work together to maintain it as well.
